Wella never!!

Sorry, but it's good to get the bad joke out of the way first. Well this looks like it's going to be a very exciting year ahead for me as I have been chosen to be one of six people that make up the Wella Generation Now team for the next year. I'm so ecstatic about this great opportunity and can't believe I made it through the audition process.

My audition was held at the Wella London Studio in front of a panel of judges which included one of the industry greats Desmond Murray. It was a really enjoyable process and the three judges were so nice. I was asked to present a look on a model which I had created myself and also talk about what I felt I would bring to the team. The look I created was called Vintique and was inspired by vintage fashion and the Art Deco period. I had a feeling it had gone well, especially because I just wanted it so bad. So it was a welcome relief when a week later I received a phone call inviting me to become a part of the team.

So over the next year I am going to be representing Wella and my team at Francesco Group Tamworth up and down the country, working with some hairdressing icons and a great young team of which I am very lucky to have been made a part of.

We will be having our induction week at the end of August, so I will be sure to post how that goes, and I will also try to post some photos from my audition. Watch this space!!
